Comfy White !

Heat in summer is an obvious discomfort & so is the sweat. To keep ourselves cool and easy breezy in summer most of us opt for comfortable fabrics and light colors, especially Whites.Yes! Summer fav Cotton. Cotton is very skin friendly and light too and moreover these days it’s a new fashion trend. You can also see cotton sarees and dresses trending up this summer with beautiful color prints on them.

So I came up with the concept of a cotton white kurta with beautiful floral prints on it. In addition, it is spiced up with Chikan work around floral prints which gives the fabric a rich and defined look. This kurta has been stitched in a closed neck pattern, inspired by Chinese style which gives it a very decent look, and why not closed neck are too trending up this season. I paired this with maroon-colored legging which slightly matches with the floral print color of my kurta.

This outfit can carry an official as well as casual look depending on the type of footwear and ornaments you accessorize with it. For an office look you can wear high-heeled sandals and light earrings that are not too bold and for casual, you can hop around with bellies or flats of your choice. Well, I loved my pretty oxidized jhumkas brought from Lulu Mall, Cochin which I wore to add a dashing look. Similar jhumkas are also available online at Flipkart and amazon. I avoided the neckpiece as my earrings were too heavy and I wanted to keep the look simple and serene.

For a cute girly look, I just grabbed my color pop handbag that has a cute little teddy on it and wore slightly heeled sandals that had embroidery work. I got this baggy in Vishal Mega Mart in Panaji, Goa. For others, you can find similar ones online at Flipkart.

As far as makeup is concerned, I kept it minimal with just a light moisturizer and a dab of Talcum powder to have shine free face and neck. You can also use BB cream and dab any translucent powder on it. At last, I highlighted my lips, cheeks, and eyes using lipstick, Blush, and eyeliner also a touch of mascara for my eyelashes and brows, and was ready to step out.
