Tan is been a star color of the year & is been featured in all fashion aspects from footwear & bags to clothing & accessories, as well as makeup.
I never though that outfit ensemble with different shades of tan would create such a classy impression taking the fashion standard to next level. As to my knowledge, I thought that this muted, rich earthy tone was restricted only to footwear, bags and in coat collections, before.
Also, there was a time where teaming contrasting colored outfits was my jam. But after trying monochrome look, this is definitely gonna be my new style funda.
I absolutely love how this monochrome attire creates the height or length illusion, making one appear taller as well as slimmer. Plus dressing in monochromatic tones makes one look very edgy as well as sophisticated.
When trying monochromatic attire one need not dress in single-colored pieces from head to toe, unless your are able to crack the look well. You can club different shades & tints of same color as well. But make sure to pick a color that looks great against your hair and skin tone. As the bad option could make you appear washed out if you are pale, or could make you look really pasty if you are tan.
There are varying shades of tan trending this season from rich, fudgy tones to soft, milky shades. Don’t hesitate to experiment with these varying shades. As the combinations using this tones are limitless, and it is a perfect timeless option for anyone’s closet.
In my case, I teamed my leopard print polyester shirt with plain cotton culottes. Mixing different textures as well as including prints for my Monochrome attire, kind of added depth as well as dimension to my overall look which appeared more interesting.
So gals, you can elevate your style by including patterns or prints that complements your color scheme. As monochromatic attires don’t just have to be made up of solid color pieces. Even adding a patterned shawl or scarf on all solid combinations can be a great style statement.
Finally, I completed my overall Monochrome look by teaming up with spacious tote bag & comfortable belles.
Along with the outfit, the main spotlight of this polished look are pretty jewelries and my absolute favorites dramatic eyes, red nails and head band for some color pop. I opted subtle nude lip color for minimal yet poised look, as the dramatic eyes was my main popping feature.
This fall/Autumn look book can also be your perfect Xmas holiday look as well.
So guys, what do you think of my Monochrome styling? I hope you find it inspiring.
