Lehenga Rush……

Lehenga have become my recent obsession, and you can probably blame it on celebrity weddings that took my breath away and inspired me n number of times to imagine myself in one. It was great to see how beautiful and happy they looked with their beautiful Lehenga and sparkle in their eyes.

In that quench, I started surfing through various online sites and with big expectations, for my sister-in-law’s engagement function. Since it was my first time, I didn’t wanted to take risk as the time period was short and also I was doubtful about the product quality after its arrival though it seemed to look very classic in pictures.

Finally, I decided to pick one from the trusted source which guaranteed quality as it felt safe buying this way.

So I came across this semi-stitched beauty, loved its make, the fresh lustrous silver color and the material quality. The delicate gold thread work all over, gave rich ambiance and grand touch making it suitable for wearing in special occasions like engagement or wedding ceremony of the one that belongs to family or relatives or of your BFF. The net peachy colored dupatta also added a striking appearance.

Blouse work and designs accentuates the beauty of an outfit either a saree or lehenga. Wearing these fancy blouses have become a remarkable trend these days, but their beautiful work is charged more than 2000 rupees. Excluding the rate of stitching which is pretty expensive.

Though my blouse already had simple front and back neck pattern design work which I was not completely satisfied with, I asked my tailor to sew gold colored lace beads all along the borders and cuts which was comparatively cheaper, to make it look more striking. What really excited me was, the lace that was turned into belt in front for tucking the dupatta which looked stylish in a traditional way. The lace beads are easily available in any garment fancy stores at reasonable price also you can find these with different sizes and in different types of lace designs.

A good looking fancy latkans can also win an imposing look for your blouse as well as Lehenga.

For the engagement function, I opted for a simple basic makeup which included foundation, eye liner, lipcolor and blush. Fancy golden potli, an artificial antique neck-piece and earrings, juttis and typical green colored glass bangles completed my entire look.

Hope you like the way I styled myself and let me know through your useful comments.

Thanks for your valuable time.
